FOLLIX

Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 September 2026

Follix classifies your Norwood stage from photos you take. This page describes exactly what leaves your iPhone, what does not, and what happens to the part that does. It matches the App Privacy label on the App Store.

No account, ever

There is no sign-up, no email address, no password and no login. We do not know who you are. The app identifies itself to our server with a random identifier generated on your device and stored in the iOS Keychain. It is not linked to you, your Apple ID, or any advertising identifier.

What happens to the photos

What never leaves your iPhone

What we do not collect at all

No analytics of any kind. No Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude or Segment. No third-party crash reporting. No advertising identifier and no ad networks. No tracking across apps or websites, by us or by anyone else.

Where the data is processed

Inference runs on European infrastructure and the model provider is European. Nothing is processed on servers outside the European Union.

Your rights

Because there is no account and the photos are discarded on receipt, there is no personal profile to export or erase. Deleting the app removes everything held on your device, including the medication log and the journal. To ask a question about this policy, use the support page.

Children

Follix is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18.

Medical disclaimer

Follix is educational and informational. It places you on a visual scale. It is not a medical device and does not replace a dermatologist.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what leaves your device, the app will say so before the next scan.
